The Anglers 1919, Carrigrohane Co Cork

The Anglers is steeped in rich history coupled with a beautiful setting at the edge of the River Lee this an extremely exciting restaurant interior design project to be a part of.

We set about trying to bring in influences from the building to represent the character of the brand and make the 1919 restaurant the centre of the Angler’s experience.

The result is a truly exceptional representation of a restaurant interior design driven by passion to make a connection between the exterior and interior views over the river.

Savage oak flooring throughout gives a practical and uniform feel to the spaces with the Oak joinery elements finished with linen wallpaper insets to give softness and warmth.

The picturesque feature olive tree that is elevatedĀ  in the center of the room represents the design ethos we tried to instill in this project and give a natural canopy of foliage into the main restaurant, whilst the central double sides seatings areas subdivides the largest space to give a comforting atmosphere

To enhance the space, we sought furniture that had a unique luxury feel that would set this creative project apart from any other.

Added elements such as the low-level cafe curtains and feature brass and glass lighting really help create the unique interior cafe atmosphere you feel as soon as you enter the space.

As cafe restaurant designers, we thrive on creative new projects such as The Anglers.
