The Avoca Hotel is a historic Hotel steeped in local history coupled with a beautiful seafront setting made this an extremely exciting and challenging hotel interior design project.

We set about striping put the existing interior to bring the old building back to the bare bones then reimagined the interior layout to create bedrooms that make the most of the sea views

The result is a truly exceptional representation of a traditional hotel interior, design driven by a passion to make historic buildings re-connections with their location.

Interior walls stripped back to the existing stonework, feature bespoke carpeting throughout giving a practical and uniform feel to the spaces with the joinery elements finished in a range of heritage colours to give softness and warmth to each bedroom.

To enhance the spaces, we designed  furniture that had a unique with a rustic feel that would be both functional and set this creative project apart from any other.

Ideas such as added elements such as locally sourced artwork showing off the beauty of the mourne mountains and rich florall really help create this unique interior hotel atmosphere.
